Athens Transport schedule for Summer 2018

Share

During the summer months of 2018, from late June to the middle of September, public transportation in Athens runs on special Summer schedules.

This is to allow for summer vacations for the personnel as well as adapt to the reduced demand for some services.

Be aware than the announced schedule might in some cases differ from the actual services due to reduced availability of personnel.

    Buses and Trolleybuses

Buses and Trolleybuses run on special summer schedules from the end of June to the middle of September.

There are two summer schedules: the first one is used from late June to late July and during the first half of September. The second one, with less frequent services, is used from the end of July to the end of August.

According to Athens transport authorities, the lines that serve the airport as well as the beaches close to Athens run a more frequent service during the summer months.
